Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp

Three signings Jurgen Klopp must make to take Liverpool back into the top 4

Liverpool’s season took a turn in the right direction when Jurgen Klopp was appointed as the new Reds boss. The German has geared Liverpool into the Europa League Final against Sevilla after knocking out some heavyweights along the way.

A win will be crucial as it will not only result in silverware yet a place in the Championship league. This would be a huge success and further encourage players to join the Merseyside.

Klopp will have to bare much more weight next season as a full transfer window will allow him to build the team, preferably capable of competing for the league title. Klopp will have to have a successful window if his side are to have any chance of competing at the highest level. We take a look at three players that could propel the Reds next season.

Granit Xhaka – midfielder. The Swiss midfielder has developed into a special midfielder and will surely add defensive cover and an attacking threat to any side.

Injuries to Henderson and Leiva have left the Reds short on cover and Xhaka will do that to fulfillment. Liverpool will have to act swiftly if they are to find any success in this one as rivals Arsenal are reportedly close to agreeing a deal.

Ron-Robert Zieler – Goalkeeper. It is without a doubt that if Liverpool are to do business they will need a new stopper Zieler will surely be looking to leave Hannover who have recently been relegated, therefore getting him shouldn’t be too difficult.

Mignolet has had questionable performance for Liverpool since his move in 2013 and could well do with some much needed competition for his undisputed number 1 spot.

To make things even more absurd he signed a five year extension with the club in January. Mignolet has good qualities yet too often he is a disaster waiting to happen-something which can’t happen for a club chasing titles.

Antonio Rudiger- Defender. The German international has been absolutely superb on loan at Roma this season guiding the Italian side to a Champions league place. The 23-year old will add some solidity at the back where it has lacked significantly for Liverpool since the retirement of Jamie Carragher. Big money moves for likes of Sakho and Lovren have not been good enough to stop the goals from leaking in.

Klopp has been handed an opportunity to rebuild his club and get Liverpool back to waning ways. Will he get it right?
