Transfer News Round up – De Gea To Madrid, Vidal To Man U, Shaqiri To Juve, Milner To Sign

Real Madrid set to Unsettle Manchester United with a bid for their young Spaniard, Juventus deals a major blow to Liverpool plans and Arsenal and Liverpool given the green light over Veteran keeper.

REAL MADRID are set to unsettle Louis Van Gaal’s United with a bid for David De Gea. Real Madrid have identified the young Spaniard as the perfect replacement for Iker Casillas who has expressed his desire to move abroad. A bid from Madrid is expected as early as this January transfer window. De Gea has been in an excellent form this season and that has caught the attention of the Spanish giant.

JUVENTUS have joined the race for Bayern Munich Xherdan Shaqiri who still has a contract with the German Champions until 2016. Juventus latest interest will scupper any plan Liverpool has for the player as Juventus want to use the fund generated from the imminent sale of  Arturo Vidal to Manchester United to bankroll this project. Liverpool have been linked with the 22-year-old Swiss all summer but could not reach a deal with Bayern Munich and it looks like Juventus will be the team to get the signature of the pacey forward with a january bid imminent.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been given the green light by Real Madrid goal keeper Iker Cassilas. The Merengues keeper has declared that he is open to a move abroad. It was muted that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was interested in bringing the veteran keeper to Emirate stadium in the summer to give competition to Wojciech Szczesny who has come under criticism over his performance recently. Liverpool are also in the hunt for a goal keeper since Simon Mignolet is the only recognised keeper in their rank and the spanish keeper has emerged as a target for both clubs who are looking to strengthen their goal keeping department.

Arsenal are set to make a deal for Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira. The gunners are short in defensive midfield option and Wenger has singled out the German as the right man to anchor his midfield. Arsenal could get their man in a cut-price of around £10m in January as the player’s contract expires in the summer. Chelsea is also believed to be monitoring the midfield enforcer’s situation. Arsenal have also indicated their interest in Anderson Talisca. The young Brazilian has been sensational for Benfica this season and his early form has caught the eyes of Arsene Wenger who will like to see the 20-year-old move to North London.

Italian coach Carlo Ancelloti is back for Chelsea’s brazilian midfielder Ramires. Madrid have made the player their number one target this winter with the imminent departure of Sami Khedira. Madrid already lost Xabi Alonso to Bayern Munich in the summer and the imminent departure of Khedira means they only have Asier Illaramendi as the only defensive midfielder in the team. Carlo Ancelloti has therefore, identified Ramires the man he brought to Chelsea in 2010 from Benfica as the perfect replacement for the departing Sami Khedira. It is believed a deal of around £30m will be able to tempt Ramires away from Chelsea.

Juventus are willing to listing to offers for Arturo Vidal. The Turin club blocked all move by Manchester United to get the player in the summer but after growing frustrated by the player’s behaviour, the club is no willing to listing to offers and hope United make a fresh bid. They will look to get around €50m for their man.

Arsenal and Liverpool are set to lose out on Manchester City midfielder James Milner who is set to pen a new deal with the citizens. Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked to the player but it looks like the player want to continue playing for the noisy neighbours.

Queens Park Rangers‘ manager Harry Redknaap is set to unite with his former strikers at Tottenham Hotspur. Redknapp is looking to bring in Emmanuel Adebayo from Tottenham and Jermain Defoe from Toronto during the January transfer window. Redknapp is looking at fixing his striking woes at QPR after his team has only scored four goals in the league this season and remains rock bottom on the log with 4points after seven games.

Italian side AS ROMA is ready to block any move for their star man Kevin Strootman. The Dutch man is a long target of Manchester United and Roma would have dealt a big blow to any suitor after they declared the player is not for sale.
