United Closing in on Felipe Anderson Deal for €50m, Players Agent is in England as Lazio Found a Replacement

Though Manchester United hasn’t made any official announcement on their interest in Felipe Anderson, it is quite clear that they are desperate to sign the Brazilian midfielder. The Lazio player himself confessed that he has been linked with the English giants for quite some time.

Since his signing in 2013, he has been a revolution to the Serie A club. Though this season he is not in his greatest forms, still his consistency was enough to catch the eye of several big teams including United.

Before making any official offers to Lazio, United is looking forward to convince the player to agree on personal terms. Felipe Anderson is yet to make any statement whether he would like a move to old Trafford or not.

That’s quite understandable. A player isn’t on his freedom to talk about potential transfers. They player said he likes it at Lazio, but catching interests from clubs such as Manchester United makes him believe that he is on the right track.

According to reports from reliable sources, Felipe Anderson’s agent was in England last week. When Manchester United is looking for the player’s signature, there can’t be any other reason for the agent to spend his new year in England apart from the transfer deal.

It is expected that Manchester United will be able to wrap the deal up before the winter transfer window closes. The Lazio board made things a little bit more interesting.

During the summer transfer window, the Lazio president claimed that any club would have to spend more than 100 million if they want to sign Felipe Anderson. It had shown how important the player is to Lazio.
But recently they have changed their stance. In summer, United got their 40M bid rejected. Now they are expanding the amount by 4M. As they are trying to pursue the player, it is expected they will make an agreement with Lazio with that amount.

But if Lazio wants to have a shot at Serie A title, they might make some more bargains. It is hoped that more updates will be available on this deal within next week.
