Wojciech Szczęsny back to arsenal

Wojciech Szczesny Will Return in Summer, David Ospina to Leave the Club

Arsenal’s goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny, has been told to return in the summer transfer window. The 25 year old was sent on loan to Roma following his inconsistent form at Arsenal and Cech’s arrival from Chelsea.

He has made 13 appearances in Serie A and has failed to make a significant impact in Italy. He also lost his chance at starting line-up after being caught smoking.

The goalkeeper might return in the summer, if David Ospina chooses to leave the Emirates following lack of first-team chances. Between the Columbian and Szczesny, the former has a better overall performance, but Wenger might not be able to keep Ospina without any promises of game-time.

The 27 year old impressed in the World Cup and Copa America, and arrived at Arsenal in 2014, but found it difficult to make his way into the team following Cech’s arrival last summer.
Petr Cech has been phenomenal for Arsenal this season, breaking David James record of 169 clean sheets which was the most by any player in the Premier League. He claimed the record to his name in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory against Bournemouth. He now holds the record at 171 clean sheets in 353 appearances and counting.
