Woodward Personally Involved in Aubameyang Deal, United to Hijack Arsenal with £60m Transfer and £200k-a-week Salary

Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is one of the most devastating strikers in world football at the moment. It’s only natural that some of the biggest clubs are interested in his services.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Gabon international on numerous occasions and according to latest reports Man Utd have also joined the race to sign the 26-year old.

The Mirror reports that United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has made Aubameyang club’s number one target for the summer transfer window. United are reportedly ready to splash out more than £60 million to secure the services of the African footballer of the year.

United have already established contact with the player’s representatives and have offered him a £200,000-a-week contract. Aubameyang has been in sensational form this season and has scored 20 goals and provided four assists in 20 league appearances for Dortmund.

The Gunners have relaxed their pursuit of the striker after learning the demands of Dortmund for their star asset. The striker signed for Dortmund from St Etienne in 2013 and his current contract with the Bundesliga club runs until 2020.
