A report from the Daily Mail is claiming Arsenal could finally see their dream of signing Robert Lewandowski come true, due to the relationship between the player and Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola.
As per the report, Arsenal’s only hope to sign Lewandowski now hinges on Guardiola. If the Spanish boss – who has been linked to City and United – signs a new long-term contract at the Allianz Arena, Lewandowski could have to move to a club who are in need of his type of striker.
The Gunners made secret contacts with Bayern about the availability of Robert Lewandowski during the summer but the Bavarian giants plainly rejected Arsenal’s approach as they do not want to sell the Polish forward.
