£24.6m Manchester United Agrees Deal, To Sign Five Years Contract

Having lost out on their key transfer target, Pedro Rodriguez, the Red Devils have chosen to look elsewhere in a bid to strengthen their attacking line – Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.

At the open of the transfer window, the Argentine winger was linked with a move to Dubai based club Al-Ahli, but the 27-year-old rejected the offer as he is keen on remaining in Europe for the rest of his career.

The Benfica winger has long been on the radar of Manchester United for several seasons and their interested was reignited following Pedro’s refusal to commit to them. However, a Portuguese publication A Bola is claiming that the player is on his way to Italy to complete a deal with Italian giant Juventus. According to the paper, a five years deal is almost done.

Manchester United have had three attacking players left the club and they are keen on adding attackers to their otherwise solid side that is experiencing goal drought – The Red devils have so far scored two goals but won their first match of the season against Tottenham by an own-goal.

It understood that any attacker acquired will complete for the Red Devils, a front three trio of Depay and Rooney.
