27 Goals In 33 Games Striker On The Way To The Emirates? Not Benzema

Alexandre Lacazette could be the striker Liverpool are looking for with the poor of form in Balotelli , according to the WhoScored.com stats The Reds are on the lookout for a quality striker this summer with Rogers looking to build a title-winning side for next term.

Alexandre Lacazette born 28 May 1991 is a French footballer who plays for French club Olympique Lyonnais and the France national team as a forward.

He has played over 150 matches across all competitions for Lyon since 2010, scoring over 50 goals in Ligue 1. In 2014–15 he was the league’s top scorer with 27 goals in 33 games, and also the Player of the Season.

Lacazette has also represented France across all youth levels. He won the 2010 UEFA European Under-19 Championship with the France under-19 team, scoring the match-winning goal in the final against Spain. Lacazette made his senior international debut in June 2013, scoring his first goal in March 2015.

And amid links with Lyon ace Lacazette, Tuttomercatoweb says Liverpool are now closing in on his signature with the French club happy to sell.

Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked with his services, but the lure of playing under Wenger could prove too much to turn down. Lacazette would cost £28million to sign.
The frontman has been linked with a £27 million move to the Reds, although he has attracted interest from Man United and Paris Saint Germain.
