£300,000-A-Week World Cup Semi Finalist Have His Heart Set On Man United Transfer

A Cristiano Ronaldo-return to the Old Trafford looks set to be thwarted by the efforts of the high-spending French club, PSG. The Ligue 1 champions have been favorites to get the signature of the 30 year-old prolific winger cum forward, and are ready to break the bank in order to have him adorn the PSG colours come next summer.

The Portuguese skipper’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu is no longer certain and the club is ready to let him go at the end of the season. Ronaldo has continually dropped hints as per a United return, but the Red Devils will have to fight off fierce competitions from the Parc de Princes outfit.

Madrid have seen the quality of their star player drop down a bit this season despite netting 8 goals in 12 League games this season and have expressed a willingness to let him go for 80 million Pounds. And PSG will probably be the only club ready to splash that much on his services, while also promising a juicy offer worth 17.5 million Pounds in wages annually after taxes for the current world best player. United are hoping to make Ronaldo return after his departure seasons ago, and they might have to break the bank to bring him back for the same amount he left.

Cristiano has created 17 chances and 2 assists this season, but a very disappointing performance against Barcelona on Saturday evening only boosted rumours of departure.

Although not the favorite for this year’s Ballon D’or award, Ronaldo is still a force to reckon with and remains a threat for opposition’s defence. United have had a low goal ratio this season and also dropped in attacking quality, but the arrival of the Portugal international once again at the Theatre of Dreams could bring a change to that.
