£30m Rated Liverpool Target Confirms He Is Open To Transfer

From Real Madrid to Napoli and the Argentine is contemplating on a move away from Napoli although it will be difficult for Rafael Benitez to let go of his best striker. Gonzalo Higuain replaced Edison Cavani in Napoli upon the departure of the later to Paris Saint German in France. Higuain moved to Naples in 2013 and has recently informed the club’s coaching crew that his future at the club is far from been secured. Liverpool however has been linked to the Argentinian forward and could make a shocking January transfer move in a bid to fix their attacking difficulties.

The Reds have had issues replacing Luis Suarez which in anyway will be difficult for any club side without the financial muscles to flex. Luis Suarez is arguably the best striker in the world and any signing for Liverpool will have to live up to that high expectations. Gonzalo Higuain, a good poacher isa known prolific goal scorer who helped Argentina to the 2014 FIFA world cup final. Scored consistently in Real Madrid before making his exit and he will be a good signing for Liverpool to take the attention off underperforming Mario Balotelli. The Italian was announced to be a bargain buy for Liverpool at £16 million and is yet to prove that instead showing why the club may have wasted the cash in bringing him in. Mario Balotelli had a good start in Inter Milan before moving to Manchester City where he was also a threat to Premier League defenders. He surprisingly made a move to Ac Milan and his goal to game ratio is also commendable which led to Liverpool’s interest and eventual purchase of the striker. Balotelli is definitely giving Liverpool more headache than expected as he struggles with life at Anfield. Although it is too early to condemn him knowing fully well what he is capable of, the arrival of another top striker will help the club and lift the pressure off Balotelli, Sturridge and Sterling in the team’s attack.

Gonzalo Higuain has what it takes to be a good goal poacher which is exactly what Liverpool might be in need of with the energetic, Sturridge and Sterling playing behind him. Despite Sterling’s form and recent performances, adding a striker in Higuain’s quality will add more to Liverpool and the Brendan Rodgers will have to do everything to make this happen. Interest in Gonzalo Higuain is surely a welcomed development for Liverpool with the present third striker been Rickie Lambert whose abilities is certainly not good enough to give the team the needed quality and depth. Liverpool will do well in securing a deal for another top rated striker and Higuain may just be the perfect fit at Anfield in the fight for a top four finish.
