£49 United Target Arrives Manchester For Medical, Personal Terms Agreed, Announcement On Monday
After snapping up Nicolas Otamendi from the fingertips of Manchester United, Manchester City are reportedly on the verge of sealing a move for Wolfsburg attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne. The Etihad residents are set to break their transfer record fee which is a sum of £49 million pounds paid for Raheem Sterling.
It is understood that a fee of £50 million pounds will be paid by Manchester City for the signature of the 24 year old ,with personal terms already agreed between Kevin De Bruyne and Manchester City. With the talented playmaker expected to arrive at Manchester City soon, an announcement is scheduled to take place on Monday if everything goes according to the plan.
Despite assuring Wolfsburg fans he was going to stay at the German club for yet another season, it appears Manchester City made the Belgian a very tempting offer he could not refuse. The 24 year old has been a subject of interest from top teams across Europe, after an impressive 2014/2015 season. The Belgian attacking midfielder was exceptional for Wolfsburg last season aiding them to finish second in the Bundesliga and winning the 2014/2015 DFB Pokal as well as the 2015 DFL Supercup.
De Bruyne’s performances did not go unnoticed and the 24 year old was awarded with the Bundesliga Player of the year. The addition of Kevin De Bruyne to City’s attack will make them extremely deadly and other Premier League need to start getting wary of threat City possesses.
