5 Reasons Manchester United Will Win The League Next Season

There is an ongoing debate on the social media about the possibility of Manchester United winning the English Premier League title next season. This debate has been on for a while now, and has now intensified considering the calibre of players the club has signed in the last couple of days. The Red Devils have shocked not quite a few of us with some marquee signings that could possible send shivers down the spine of other teams in the league.

The Louis van Gaal-led team has been further boosted with some marquee players including; German and Bayern Munich legend, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin, Memphis Depay, and Matteo Darmian; yet the club is not done as the Red Devils are still being linked with a move for a striker and a defender to provide a balance for the team.

Here are five reasons Manchester United will win the league next season:

They now have a proper midfield: the midfield is the engine room of any club, and no club aiming to succeed ignores the fact that quality players need to be the core of that area. This season, United have been very busy adding some proper midfielders that are bound to help the club reassert itself in the pinnacle of English football once again. With exception of Matteo Darmian, and maybe Memphis Depay; the Red Devils have focused more on signing more midfielders than in other department. Along with Juan Mata, Michael Carrick, Marounane Fellaini, Ander Herrera, Ashley Young, Daley Blind; Louis van Gaal now has players like Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin to send shivers down the spine of other teams in the league.

Louis van Gaal now knows the terrain better: the Dutchman now has a year of experience in the EPL to fall back on, and no longer has an excuse not to succeed.

Rooney will now probably play upfront: Rooney will now probably be allowed to play in his preferred position, which is upfront. With top-quality midfielders providing key passes to the England international, he wouldn’t struggle to bury chances after chances that would come his way as a striker.

Schweinsteiger to the rescue: United now have a Bastian Schweinsteiger to provide quality cover and competition for Michael Carrick anytime he is out injured.

Chelsea not prioritising their signings: with Chelsea not doing the right kind of signings this window, United may not struggle much to the title next season.

Do you think Manchester United stand a better chance of winning the title next season? Why not join in the debate.
