£75,000-A-Week Defensive Star Set To Make SHOCKING Arsenal Move

Spanish giants Real Madrid fresh from the signing of Espaynol goalkeeper, Kiko Casilla are interested in signing Arsenal Goalkeeper David Ospina. Having lost long serving Iker Casillas to Porto and seen their bid for David De gea rejected by Man United, Madrid are not ok with just the signing of Casilla and see Ospina as the stop gap replacement for club legend Casillas.

Ospina, 27 joined Arsenal last season after staring in the world cup with the Colombian national team and has made the number one position his own. He played a prominent role in the club’s FA cup triumph keeping a clean sheet as the gunners ran away 4-0 winners.  But the Gunners have brought in Petr Cech from Chelsea and being that Wojech Schenzy qualifies as a homegrown player the gunners want to sacrifice Ospina in order to make room for Cech.

Real on the other hand will have to sell Keylor Navas in other to make room for Ospina in a summer rocked by unusual amount of goalkeeper transfers triggered by the sale of Cech by Chelsea and might become more if David De gea is sold by United. Ospina will be a safe pair of hands for Madrid and is surely an upgrade on the current crop of goalkeepers at Madrid. His agile reflexes and mostly command of his penalty are qualities that make him stand out. The Colombian stopper is surely destined for great things and at 27 is relatively young for a goalkeeper so it will be a worthwhile investment for Madrid as he could easily be number one for another ten years. But then again Madrid are not known for their loyalty.
