ivanovic to sign new contract

£80,000-A-Week Star Sign Pre-Contract Ahead Of January Chelsea Transfer

Chelsea have been woeful this season and the errors are being seen all over the team especially with the defence and obviously, Ivanovic has just been nothing short of error-prone in all his appearances for Chelsea this season.

Fans have complained severally and instead of the Blues manager Jose Mourinho dropping him, he insisted that the player is his best right-back at the club and he will not be dropped from the squad. The player has however been injured for a while and he had to be forced to the sidelines. Reports are however claiming that Branislav Ivanovic could end his Chelsea career as soon as the January transfer window.

The Mirror is claiming that Ivanovic may sign a pre contract agreement with Italian giants, Inter Milan, as he is yet to sign an extension with the Blues and with his contract set to come to an end in the summer, it does not look like Chelsea will be offering him a renewal on his contract especially with his current form for Chelsea being so poor.

His agent Zoran Krneta however seems confident that a new deal could be offered the player by Chelsea but he also admits that Ivanovic could be tempted to make the move to Italy as anything is possible in football.

Krneta said, “It’s quite possible that he will renew his contract with Chelsea. The rumors about Inter? In football, anything is possible.”

It remains to be seen what will happen with this player but it needs to be resolved very soon by the club and the player so everyone can focus on what’s important. All will definitely be sorted by the January transfer window.
