£80,000-A-Week Star To Have Medical Today As Mourinho Gets Him Wish

For a while now, the Italian media especially Calciomercato have been seriously interested in the transfer of Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado to Juventus. As such, it began to get a bit annoying as it appeared Juventus are a tad arrogant about the deal.

The Serie A champions were keenly interested in Cuadrado but they first wanted to see whether they would get Schalke’s Julian Draxler and Bayern Munich’s unsettle star Mario Gotze as well as Borussia Dortmund’s Henry Mkhitaryan. They believe if the move to bring in any of the aforementioned Bundesliga stars fail to materialise, Chelsea and Cuadrado will still be waiting for them, as they know fully well Jose Mourinho is looking to get rid of the Colombian.

It appears something has now triggered Juventus to quickly swoop for Cuadrado and Sport Witness reckon it could be the swipe the self acclaimed Special One took at the Old Lady boss Massimiliano Allegri for talking about his admiration for Oscar and Ramires, or it could be Chelsea’s interest in Paul Pogba.

The feeling now is that Cuadrado could be part of the deal that would take Pogba to Stamford Bridge, as it appears as though Chelsea have put Juventus under some kind of pressure.

“He comes with the formula of a loan, for a season,” Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta was quoted by Calciomercato as confirming the deal.

“We will define the deal tomorrow [Monday] morning. It’s a choice shared with the coach.”

SW cite Calciomercato who claim Cuadrado will undergo medical assessment at the Turin club on today [Monday]. Mourinho, who had been finding a way of getting rid of the 27-year old winger, would be delighted after realising the former Fiorentina man would not fit in his system at Chelsea.

Cuadrado played only twelve Premier League games for Chelsea last term as Jose Mourinho led the team to their fourth league title, and the Colombian attacker has no goal or assist to his name at Stamford Bridge.
