Chelsea have held a long-term interest in Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, and they plan to snap him up from the hands of the Serie A club in the summer.
The Blues are hopeful of landing Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri on a four-year deal in the summer.
Evening Standard claims that Allegri shares a strong bond with the France international and Chelsea are hopeful that he will be able to convince Pogba to come along with him to Stamford Bridge.
The West London club failed with a £66m bid for the 22-year old in August and owner Roman Abramovich has made him the number one transfer target for the upcoming transfer window.
Pogba is one of the most sought-after midfield talents in world football at the moment, and the Blues will face stiff competition from the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid and PSG for his transfer.
He moved to Juventus in a free transfer from Man Utd in 2012, and he has won three Serie A titles one Coppa Italia titles during his time at the club.
He has featured in the Seria A Team of the Year for the past two seasons.
