After Losing Schneiderlin To Manchester United, Arsenal Set To Sign 6ft 2in DM

Arsenal’s pursuit for Morgan Schneiderlin has come to an end with French man agreeing a deal to join Manchester United for the next four years. The deal which is believed to be in the region of £25 million has ensured that arsenal now have to focus on other targets.

It is hard to one’s back on a £120,000-a-week contract, which is what the Schneiderlin deal stands at, but that means another club will have to be on its toes to keep its player. That is the chain reaction that the Schneiderlin deal has set rolling. Swansea may the the club that pays for arsenal’s miss out on him.

If the Express report is anything to go by, then Ki Seung Yeung is in the Gunners gun sights, a target they will not want to miss out on. Swansea had a stellar season and would want to keep that up and that means keeping their best legs. How they intend to stave off the interest of arsenal is up to Garry Monk who led them to their best ever Premier League finish last season, amassing 56 points to finish 8th.

A lot of effort has been put into making Ki the player he is today after a £6 million move brought him from Celtic. He needed a loan at Sunderland to knock him into premiership and 33 appearances last season makes him a genuine star under Garry Monk.

A £12m to £15m bid is expected from arsenal in the coming days and Ki has a major decision to make.
