After Manchester United Offered £200,000-A-Week, Star Set To Complete Move

According to the Daily Mail, the La Decima kings will remain in the chase of Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea, despite reluctance on the part of the Red Devils. According to mail, Real Madrid will table a new bid for the Spaniard next week and they believe a deal could be reached for the goalkeeper.

De Gea remained sidelined for the opening three EPL matches of his club. This is coming on the back-drop of his unsettling as per the rumours surrounding the transfer. Louis Van Gaal has given his number two goalkeeper, Sergio Romero, the nod to man in-between the sticks for the Red Devils thus far.

Earlier in the summer, the Los Blancos lost their veteran goalkeeper Iker casillas to a transfer that saw him moved to Porto. That departure left Madrid with a need of fortifying their goalkeeping side with De Gea tipped as the perfect and long-term target of the La Decima kings.

De Gea has one year left on his contract but when faced with the press, Van Gaal, had insisted that his goalkeeper is going nowhere and they are unwilling to sell him regardless of the price offered for his services. This is despite the reports of De Gea rejecting a £200,000 a week contract offer from Manchester United.

The 24-year-old goal keeper is one of the world’s brightest goalkeeping prospects. He kept 11 clean sheets for United last season and saw them qualified for champions league play-off against the penultimate season.
