After Scoring 44 Goals Last Season, 6ft 1″ Tall Striker COMPLETES Chelsea Move

According to official reports, Chelsea and England U-17 starlet, Dominic Solanke has today embarked on a season-long loan move to Dutch league side Vitesse Arnhem. The 17 year-old player was an integral part of the Blues’ FA Youth Cup team last term as well as the UEFA Youth league team. He scored 44 goals for the youth team last season.

Most recently, he embarked on the club’s post-season playing tour of Thailand and Australia, and showed his worth, scoring once in the Blues’ one-nil victory over Thailand All Star 11.

Despite already having Isaiah Brown, Jeremy Boga, as well as a number of Chelsea’s young generation on loan among their ranks, Vitesse- which happens to be Chelsea’s sister club, are reported to have specifically requested for Solanke to come on loan, given his credentials in the youth leagues.

Given his progress through Chelsea’s reputable Academy, coach Jose Mourinho was reportedly keen to graft him into the first team, and hinted at such when he introduced the player for a UEFA Champions league debut against Maribor in October 2014.

However, with the arrival of Falcao, it appears that the youngster would have to wait much longer to prove his true value to the Blues’ coach: and as such, the loan move to Vitesse would offer the ideal conditions for him to groom himself in the game well enough to compete with Chelsea’s current crop of forwards, come next year.
