Lavezzi Moving from PSG to Italy

Aggressive Klopp to beat Wenger in transfer race for 21M rated PSG superstar

Reports from some of England’s leading dailies have claimed that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has identified Brazilian Lucas Moura as his primary target of the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old has not been able to hit the heights that he was expected to since moving to Paris Saint Germain in 2013. PSG boss Laurent Blanc has given the player enough opportunities to make a name for himself but after three years of mediocrity, it seems like his employers are ready to cash in on him.  Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is believed to be a big fan of the gifted Brazilian and he is expected to make a 21m pound move for the player once the transfer window opens.

Despite not being able to fulfil his potential, Lucas is attracting interest from some of European football’s biggest names and Liverpool may very well have to work hard to land the player.

The Reds’ Premier League rivals Arsenal are also reported to be having an interest in the player while Manchester United have found themselves linked to him for every single one of the last two or three transfer windows.

Lucas himself may very well be eyeing a move away from France as this season has seen him lose his place in the starting line up. The 44m pound arrival of Angel Di Maria from Manchester United meant that Lucas was seeing more of the bench than ever before. And with his team needing a bit of an overhaul, Jurgen Klopp has scoped out the unhappy midfielder as a worthy target to go after once the transfer window begins.
