Sanchez is Back Against Man City

Alexis Sanchez Becomes Chelsea’s Top Target? World’s 3rd Best Manager and Ex-Chile Head Coach Already Learning English

Arsenal could face a battle of keeping Alexis Sanchez if ex-Chile head coach Jorge Sampaoli is named the next Chelsea manager, according to recent reports.

It is reported that the former Chile head coach has already been contacted with Chelsea and he’s already on Chelsea’s managerial shortlist after he won the 2015 Copa America last year.

The 55-year-old Argentinian is one of the favorites to take the job at the end of the season when the Blues interim boss Guus Hiddink will be leaving the temporary managerial position at the Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

According to the reports, Sampaoli is likely to make Sanchez his primary transfer target if he’s elected to take over the managerial job at Stamford Bridge because Sanchez played a major role during their Copa America campaign last year.

Sampaoli, who is Chile’s Copa America-winning boss, quite Chile earlier this month after a four-year tenure at the helm of Chile.

The 55-year-old manager, who finished second to Pep Guardiola in world manager of the year poll, is reportedly learning English and this has boosted Chelsea’s chase for his managerial services. Besides, it is rumored that he would love an opportunity to move to the west London club.

Arsenal would undoubtedly be aghast of the idea of losing their star forward, especially if the departure means selling to their London bitter rivals like Chelsea.
