Almost Done – Chelsea Close To Reach AGREEMENT For £75,000-A-Week Star

Though, the potential of Chelsea midfielder, Mohammed Salah was never a subject of doubt; who would have thought that the Egyptian international would easily make his impact felt in the Italian league after signing for Firoentina. The Chelsea midfielder is now one of the favourites in Fiorentina, and it is being reported that the club’s new manager wants the Egyptian to extend his loan deal, which will see other suitors stay away.

Salah has been in sparkling form since joining the Italian club on loan, and has therefore been attracting a lot of suitors. Despite being in spectacular form, it is still not clear if Jose Mourinho has any plan to include him in his team for next season, which may have been the reason why Sousa is testing Chelsea’s resolve. However, there remains a slight possibility that the Blues may not be against the idea of letting him off on a permanent deal; which, of course, also explains why Atletico as well as Firoentina have started showing enough interest.

The former Basel player, who signed for the Blues in January 2014 for £11 million, may still have a future with Chelsea should the Stanford Bridge side insists on maintaining the current status per his loan deal with Fiorentina. The deal, which took him to Italy was a part of a move, which saw the Blues sign Juan Cuadrado last January.

During his loan spell, the 22-year old scored 9 times for Fiorentina, and made other remarkable contributions towards his team’s performance in the 2014/2015 season that just ended.

However, what may not work in favour of Fiorentina in their bid to retain the services of Salah is the position in which they finished on the league table. The team finished fourth in the league, which means they won’t be able to play in the Champions League.
