Almost Done – Chelsea On The VERGE Of Signing €27m Rated World Cup Winner

According to reports, out-of-favour Barcelona forward, Pedro has recently hinted at his desire to leave the Camp Nou. Having slid down the pecking order due to the arrivals of superstars Neymar, Luis Suarez and now Arda Turan, the player is reportedly unsure of his

playing chances come next season and is seeking a move away from the club. The winger/striker featured most times from the bench last season, scoring a paltry six goals for the Catalan club.

Reports state that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has recently responded to the player’s intentions by making inquiries as to his availability. The reports also further state that despite the player initially declaring his decision to stay and fight for his place in the Barcelona team, he is thrilled at the prospect of working under the Special One, and would now press for a move to Chelsea.

According to The Express, the Catalan giants recently slashed his asking price to about €27 million, which is well within Jose Mourinho’s reach. However, the Blues would have to fight off

competition from Arsenal and striker-hungry Manchester United, in order to land the player’s services.
