ALMOST Done, Chelsea Target Set For Medical, “NEW” Essien To Complete Move

Tottenham and Chelsea would be rueing their loss as they two London clubs recently lost out on signing Godfred Donsah. The 19 year old’s impressive performances in the Serie B for the Cagilari squad caught the attention of clubs in Europe, with clubs like Napoli, Juventus , Chelsea , Arsenal and Tottenham all interested in the 19 year old.

However, Godfred Donsah chose to stay in Italy and is reportedly on the verge of signing with Bologna. The deal was confirmed by Godfred Donsah’s agent who was quoted by Tuttomercatoweb. to have said”He is happy, he chose Bologna for having the chance to play and to be in Serie A was his goal. “He is ‘young and should receive priority to time to play and increase his experience.”

The agent further went on to confirm that the 19 year old is undergoing a medical ahead of a rumoured 7 million Euros move to Bologna which should be announced shortly after the medical. It is understood that 25% of the transfer fee will go the Ghanaian’s soon to be former club Cagilari.

The 19 year old is set to be Bologna’s fifth signing of the season, as they look to stay in the top flight of the Italian Serie A, after just gaining promotion from Serie B.  Godfred Donsah who is dubbed as the new ‘Michael Essien’ will be keen to impress at Bologna after dazzling Cagilari fans with his impressive box to box displays in Serie B.
