Mertens has six goals in 14 games this season, setting up assisting two others. Inter Milan are also reportedly keen on acquiring his services.
Liverpool recently made a move for the player but his agent, Soren Lerby, denied the claims stating that his client will not complete a move away from Napoli in January: “I have heard the rumours but there is nothing absolutely concrete. We are not talking about this rumours, Dries is not moving in January.”
