After what can be described as a mediocre showing- at least, for the most part of last season, Manchester United coach, Louis van Gaal has gone about restructuring his squad, so as to put forward a more-balanced team capable for challenging for honours next term.
Lately, United have been involved in quite a number of transfer dealings; some failed, some still in progress, and some others relatively successful. One such move, which would only be branded as ‘entirely successful’ the very moment the player arrives, is the move for France and Southampton midfielder, Morgan Schneiderlin.
The pacy, agile and technically-gifted midfielder certainly meets the requirements of Louis van Gaal, and should have no problems settling in to the Red Devils’ squad, if signed. Reports state exclusively that United are currently locked in advanced talks with the Saints’ over the transfer of the 25 year-old player.
Having had an initial bid fo around £20 million rejected by the Saints’, United are believed to be preparing an improved bid of £30 million, which is likely to force the hand of the Saints’.
Despite late interest from fellow English side, Arsenal, it is however expected that United wrap up negotiations soonest, and officially announce his arrival at the Old Trafford.
