ALMOST DONE – Manchester United To ANNOUNCE Striker Signing This Week

According to reports, Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal may not be far from celebrating his much-needed striker arrival at the club. Following the departure of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao, the Red Devils have been left depleted in attacking forces, with Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez being the only recognized forwards left.

Having identified a number of potential striker targets and made little progress in negotiations, the Dutch tactician appears to have finally struck some positive chemistry with Italian League side, Juventus, over the transfer of Spain forward, Fernando Llorente.

The 30 year-old player, having played back-up striker to Carlos Tevez and Alvaro Morata at the Old Lady, has reportedly recently indicated his desire to depart the club; as the summer arrivals of Paulo Dybala and co. have further cast his future at the club into serious doubt.

Following this development, and with Louis van Gaal’s tentacles reaching as far as Italy to make inquiries over his availability, the Italian club have allegedly offered the player to United on a platter of gold. The Red Devils are now believed to be preparing a bid for the experienced Spaniard, and would hope to wrap up a deal as soon as possible, as the 2015/2016 season draws nearer to its starting.
