Almost Done – Manchester United To TRIGGER £22m Clause Of Chelsea Target
According to reports on the social media this evening, Manchester United are set to trigger the £22 million release clause of Barcelona’s Pedro. Pedro who has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Chelsea was thought to be on his way to Chelsea but newest reports now claim the player is actually more likely to join Manchester United instead.
Pedro who was a key member of the all conquering Pep Guardiola team has found regular first team football hard to come by at Barca after the Catalonian signed Suarez who has gone on to form a fearsome threesome partnership with Messi and Neymar – popularly known as MSN.
Although the world cup winner only just put pen to paper on a new deal with Barca, it is expected that he will leave the club this summer in search of regular first team football and the new contract signed is just so Barca can command more fee for him instead of allowing him leave for £7 million which would have been the case had he not signed a new contract. Even at £22 million and considering his quality and the price of other players in the market, United will still be getting a good deal for a wonderful player.
Should Pedro join United, United will finally have a deadly attack with Depay and Pedro himself on both wings and Rooney in the centre. Chelsea’s lost is definitely going to be Manchester United gain if the reports are in anyway true.
