Defensive midfielder Kevin Stewart is the last player at to enter the list of injured players after picking up some ankle problem during training. The 22-year-old limped out of training on Monday and is now awaiting results of a scan.
Speaking on Stewart, Klopp said: “We lost Kevin Stewart in training.”
“He blocked a shot and his ankle was not stable. It was a bit bruised so we have sent him for a scan. We think it’s the ligament. He trained outstandingly and then this happened. That’s not too good.”
Liverpool are already dealing with key injury blows and Stewart has just joined the list of the injured players.
Stewart made his Premier League debut on Sunday against Aston Villa and his work rate was extremely good, making him a valuable asset for Klopp’s regular squad role.
The player failed to travel to Augsburg with Liverpool’s squad for their Europa League trip.
The Reds tenure has been littered with injury problems, but have currently seen several players return to fitness.
Daniel Sturridge is already beck after missing out in action for quite a long time, Midfielder Lucas was reported to have recovered a hamstring injury after missing the win against Aston Villa.
“Lucas is back fit but not Adam – he has no chance for Thursday’s [against Augsburg] game,” Klopp said.
Adam Lallana is also out with a calf problem.
