Another Injury Blow: This Key Midfielder Will Miss Europa League Match

Defensive midfielder Kevin Stewart is the last player at to enter the list of injured players after picking up some ankle problem during training.  The 22-year-old limped out of training on Monday and is now awaiting results of a scan.

Speaking on Stewart, Klopp said: “We lost Kevin Stewart in training.”

“He blocked a shot and his ankle was not stable. It was a bit bruised so we have sent him for a scan. We think it’s the ligament. He trained outstandingly and then this happened. That’s not too good.”

Liverpool are already dealing with key injury blows and Stewart has just joined the list of the injured players.
