Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte found replacement for Falcao, Remy and Pato in this sensational striker

The young French striker of Fulham, Moussa Dembele, has enjoyed a wonderful season in the English second tier, scoring 14 in 38 league games so far.

It has been reported by “Get French Football”, that Chelsea have reportedly opened transfer talks with the teenager, stepping up their interest to compete alongside their rivals who are also supposedly interested, Tottenham and Manchester United.

Chelsea will no doubt be on the hunt during this summer transfer window to increase the firepower in their forwards department. Current strikers, Falcao, Loic Remy and the well known new arrival, Alexandre Pato, are all past their best form. Newly recruited head coach, Antonio Conte, believes the Fulham youngster will no doubt add something which the Blues are missing.

The 19 year old forward has previously had a brief taste of the Premier League whilst Fulham were in the top flight. His Premier League debut lasted 7 minutes in November 2013, ending the game injured against West Brom.
In March 2014, he made his full debut against Everton, however, losing the game 3-1. Fulham were then relegated to the Championship at the end of the 2013/14 campaign.

A move down to The Championship, however, has not been a bad thing for Dembele. The 6 foot, athletic forward bided his time, gaining 11 appearances in Fulham’s first season in The Championship, then progressing into a key figure for Fulham’s current campaign in one of the most competitive divisions in England.

Could a move to current Premier League champions be the icing on the cake after also being nominated for The Football League young player of the year?
