Antonio Conte’s Deal to Chelsea Set to be Sealed Within 3 Days

Italy coach Antonio Conte and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will reportedly hold a meeting within three days to agree on a deal that will see Conte become the next Chelsea manager. The meeting is set to happen on one of Abramovich’s yachts in Monte Carlo, amid increasingly imminent reports of a possible switch of Conte to Chelsea.

The meeting between Chelsea owner and Conte us believed to only be a formality and Conte should be announced as Chelsea boss in the coming days.

Although the exact day and time of the meeting is uncertain, our close sources have revealed that Abramovich will meet Conte in Monte Carlo, where Conte’s brother and agent Daniele lives. They are expected to iron out the details of their deal, with the Italian Coach offered a three-year deal for €6.5m per season.

Edging out in front of the likes of Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone and Juventus‘ Massimiliano Allegri, the Azzurri boss is set to take over the Stamford Bridge hot-seat to succeed current interim boss Guus Hiddink.

And according to reports, Abramovich has already decided that the Italian tactician is the man to take up the reins on a long-term basis after Guus Hiddink leaves in the summer, but wants to meet him in person in order to be 100 percent certain.
