Arsenal CLEARED To Sign Arturo Vidal As Juve Is Set To Sign Chelsea Target As Replacement

If a report by goal.com is anything to go by, Arsenal could be finally set to sign Arturo Vidal this summer as Juventus are already in the market to sign another player in the same role as Vidal which could only mean Juve are replacing the Chilean who has been linked to a move to Arsenal with some reports claiming the gunners have agreed a fee with Juventus and personal terms with the player.

Juventus are reportedly set to sign Axel Witsel as a replacement for Vidal. To further add fuel to the speculation linking Axel Witsel to a move to Juventus, Axel Witsel’s agent Riccardo Napolitano has confirmed the player will be leaving his current club Zenith St Petersburg this summer.

“The boy has decided to leave Zenit. He wants to play for a club playing at a greater level than the Russian league and compete in a division full of stars. Italy is a destination he is keen on. He likes Juventus a lot. He would be considered a first alternative to Pogba or Vidal if they were to leave. Juventus would immediately turn to him,” Goal quotes Napolitano as saying.

Witsel, a Manchester United target can play in various roles in midfield but is more at home in the box to box role. He has also been linked with a move to Chelsea with Jose Mourinho reportedly interested in signing the player as replacement for John Obi Mikel who is reportedly on his way to Turkish side Fenerbahce.
