Arsenal close to completing mega deal for Borussia Dortmund superstar

Armenian national team and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a summer transfer target for Arsenal too. As we have already mentioned in some of our articles, Mkhitaryan now is one of the highly qualified and highly demanded player, and many clubs are interested in the services of Armenian midfielder.

The possibility is high to choose between two London clubs: Chelsea and Arsenal. For a long time scouts of FC Arsenal follow the Armenian international. Dortmund’s midfielder was close to join Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur during his career at Shakhtar Donetsk.

Though he moved to Dortmund where a career of a top player started. Mkhitaryan’s contract with German club ends in summer 2017. So now he has to choose between renewing the contract with his current club or moving to another one.

As this summer Arsene Wenger is likely to lose some of his midfielders this summer, including  Mathieu Flamini, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky. Their contracts are supposed to end after this season, and it is unsure whether the contracts will be prolonged or not.

The Gunners are ready to pay for Dortmund’s superstar £ 23 million.

One thing is obvious all the UK magazines talk about Mkhitaryan’s transfer to a London club, but which one will choose Henrikh, after his brilliant 15/16 season at Borussia,  is not clear yet.
