Arsenal Emerge Favorites To Sign Powerful 5FT 10″ Prolific Chelsea Target

Felipe Pardo

Arsenal are reportedly looking into making a move for Olympiakos winger Felipe Pardo.

The Colombian international impressed in Arsenal’s 3-2 defeat to Olympiakos earlier this season in the Champions League, with Pardo scoring one goal and making an assist.

It is widely speculated that Arsenal will make a bid for him in January in an attempt to add more depth to the squad.

Pardo joined Olympiakos from Braga earlier on in the summer, and he started his professional career with Colombian side Deportivo Cali.

The 25-year-old has scored three goals in four matches in the Champions League this season and could be a useful addition for the Gunners as they look to reduce the worries recent injuries might impose upon the team.

Pardo scored a 90th minute goal against Dinamo Zagreb in the last Champions League match:

Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been ruled out for the next few weeks, leaving Arsenal short of quality and depth in attack but with the form of Mesut Ozil arsenal should be able to continue their string of fine performances.

Arsenal are also looking to sign PSG ace Edinson Cavani. Although it would cost a lot more to sign the Uruguayan that it would cost to sign Pardo.
