Arsenal finalizing the signing of 16-year-old wonderkid called ‘New Zlatan’

Arsenal look set to beat Juventus and land 16-year-old wonderkid, Dusan Vlahovic, from Partizan Belgrade this summer. The highly rated and massively scouted youngster has been turning heads all season with his mature performances on the pitch in Serbia.

The tall, silky attacker has broken into the Partizan first team at just 16 years of age and many are tipping him to go on from Partizan and enjoy a career similar to Zlatan, with whom he constantly gets compared.

The Mirror claim that a deal has already been reached between Arsenal and Partizan Belgrade, with a figure of around £2million enough to bring Vlahovic from Belgrade to north London. His contract with Belgrade is due to run until 2018 but the cash-strapped club look to want to cash in on the player sooner rather and later.

It would be a good move for Arsenal and Vlahovic as he would work with higher rated coaches and get the experience on the academy before hopefully making a move into Wenger’s first team; providing Wenger is still around when Vlahovic is deemed ready.

Perhaps Wenger is desperate to land the youngster sooner rather than later after missing out on Zlatan Ibrahimovic many years ago. Zlatan says that he turned down a move to Arsenal because Wenger wanted him to do a trial at the club, but Zlatan famously responded “Zlatan doesn’t do auditions.”
Time will tell if Vlahovic becomes the next Ibrahimovic, but he certainly comes highly rated and if it is true that Arsenal have beaten Juventus to the signing then they have themselves a bargain.
