Arsenal Injury News – Koscienly, Flamini, Arteta, Wilshere & Petr Cech

Arsenal have always been in trouble in the English Premiership with injuries the players always seem to get. It is like the Arsenal players have some kind of injury magnets implanted in them as soon as they join the squad.

The team is presently battling with some injuries to some members of the squad and these are some of them.

Danny Welbeck is still out with a knee injury which he got since May this year. The estimated time for his return to action is still 2 months from now and this will limit Arsenal power in front of the opponents’ goal till his return.

Laurent Koscielny sustained a hamstring injury against Olympiakos in the Champions League match and will not be back until after two weeks.

Mikel Arteta is still battling with a thigh strain but is expected back within the next one week and maybe bring back some of the confidence he passes to the players on the pitch.

Mathieu Flamini is also battling with a Hamstring injury which he sustained same match with Arteta but is also expected back within the next one week and will be gladly welcomed as Arsenal lack defensive midfield options.

Jack Wilshere who sustained an ankle injury in training since the first of August is not to be expected back anytime soon and the earliest he could be back is within the next 3 months. Hopefully, he will learn to play less dangerously and get less injuries and maybe live up to his potential.

Tomáš Rosický is battling with a knee injury and will not be expected back until about the next one month. He sustained the injury in an international match for his country.

Petr Cech could also be a doubt for Sunday as he is just coming back from a calf injury which sidelined him against Olympiakos.

Hopefully, Arsenal and the medical team will find a solution to all these incessant injuries that seem to constantly beset Arsenal squad players.
