Arsenal OFFERED Chance To Sign £80,000-A-Week World Cup Finalist

The echoes, calls and agitation for a top-notch forward has been on the lips of Arsenal fans throughout the summer and the club have also acted accordingly – scouring Europe for a world class attacker who can help propel the team to glory this season.

The north London club have seemingly been handed a significant boost, with Paris Saint Germain opening the door for one of their star forwards to move to the Premier League.

Express says PSG have offered forward Ezequiel Lavezzi to Premier League and London trio Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham United, as the Ligue 1 champions look to balance their books. The Gunners are better-placed financially to land the Argentine and they have been offered a clear opportunity.

The Paris-based club recently brought in Angel Di Maria from Manchester United for £44m, and the Argentinian winger will reportedly earn in excess of £50m if he sees out his contract at the Parc des Princes.

The Ligue 1 champions have an influx of attacking talents, with Di Maria, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Javier Pastore, Lucas Moura and Edinson Cavani all in the ranks of manager Laurent Blanc, therefore Lavezzi could be shown the exit door by the club.

In a bid to move him out quickly, PSG have now offered Lavezzi to the three aforementioned Premier League clubs, as per TuttoSport. However, a return to Serie for the former Napoli man could also happen.

The 30-year old winger enjoyed blossoming seasons at Napoli, scoring 38 goals in over 150 appearances. With Di Maria now set to dislodge him in the left side of attack, Lavezzi has been labelled surplus to requirements at the Parc des Princes.

Lavezzi made 31 appearances for PSG last season, scoring eight goals as the Laurent Blanc’s side claimed a domestic quadruple. The player completed full 90 minutes only seven times.

Powerful, well-built and pacey, Lavezzi would represent a great coup for Arsenal whose attack would be bolstered, should the Argentine move to the Emirates. Despite his age, he would no doubt still be a massive addition to the Arsenal squad. Arsene Wenger will likely field him on either wing, with Alexis Sanchez on the other – thereby making the Arsenal attack arguably the most potent in the Premier League.

Up next for the Gunners is a home game against Liverpool next Sunday, and the last time both teams met Arsenal ran out 4-1 winners.
