Arsenal Plan £21m Bid For World Cup Winner
The 2015 summer transfer window could turn out to be Arsenal worst transfer window ever, if the Gunners don’t make the most of what is left in the last few days. The Gunners have just two days to make their 2nd signing of the season and are reportedly ready to tender a bid of £21 million for German attacker Julian Draxler. The 21 year old has been linked with a move to the Premiership this season, with Arsenal and Manchester United both interested in signing him.
However not only Premier League teams are interested in Julian Draxler as Juventus and Wolfsburg are reportedly keen on the 21 year old. The race for the 21 year old is expected to go straight down to the wire with all clubs desperately needing to bolster their attack.
Arsene Wenger has been known to pull off deals quite late in the summer transfer window and this time it could be no different. Draxler’s asking price has reportedly been reduced to a cut-bid price of £21 million due to persistent injury problems. Arsenal have had a considerably good start to the season, having picked up 7 points from four games.
But the cries for an attacker being sung left , right , centre does not seem to be dying down. Arsenal had 22 attempts against Newcastle but failed to convert any one of them, with an own goal coming to the rescue of the Gunners. Arsene Wenger has reportedly ruled out any signing before the transfer window but Arsene Wenger being Arsene Wenger, expect surprises it’s not over until it is actually over.
