Arsenal ready to sign ex-Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge, Liverpool hope to get £30m

Arsenal’s potential title run crumbled in the last third of the season, and fans have rightly blamed it on the offensive power. Although Arsenal is packed with explosive players like Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez, they have not cut it this season. Arsene Wenger is eyeing potential additions to the Gunner’s attack, and his eye has wandered to Liverpool man Daniel Sturridge. Latest reports suggest Wenger is ready to splash his summer budget on Liverpool ace.

The 26-year-old English international has been criticized for his constant struggle with injuries, but Wenger has faith him. There’s is no denying that Sturridge is a deadly striker, whenever he is in form that is. He can be a clinical finisher and has the striker selfishness that sets exceptional forwards apart.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp does not seem impressed with Sturridge’s performance since his arrival, and has no problems with letting him go.

Although Liverpool hope to get £30 million for the ex-Chelsea man, we are still left to see if Arsenal will cough up the money.

Arsenal has lacked offensive power this season, especially in crunch time. Olivier Giroud had a great first season with The Gunners, but has flopped this time around.
Sturridge is an avid striker and winger, and if Arsenal manage to keep him fit enough, he might have a huge impact on Wenger’s side next campaign.
