Arsenal Set To Sign 5ft 9″ Star, Announcement Imminent

The Emirates landlord have turned their attention to Borussia Dortmund for the signature of their Poland Born International winger as news emerged that the player was looking to end his relationship with the German club this summer, according to Bild (via TalkSport).

The former Wisla Krakow player had been a mainstay in Dortmund’s squad for several seasons until the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as the new manager that has seen him not featured regularly for the club beginning last season.

Blaszczykowski, 29, has been open about his desire to move in other play regularly, this has prompted the Gunners interest on the player that was on Wenger’s radar seasons ago.

The winger has also drawn attraction from several clubs including Real Betis but according to the report accredited to Bild, German newspaper, Betis are unlikely to match his £1.8 million – per annum wages leaving Arsenal as the only capable suitors.

The player managed 13 appearances in the Bundesliga for Dortmund last season following his ruptured cruciate ligament suffered in the January of last year.

The player is blessed with speed and can bring so much experience to the Gunners’ squad who have lacked the desired experience and mastery in their attack.
