Yesterday, a report by the Sun claimed that Chelsea have identified Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as the replacement for their outgoing star Eden Hazard.
Many didn’t take the rumour seriously and now Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given his ruling on the transfer rumour.
When asked, in his press conference, whether the rumour linking Oxlade-Chamberlain to Chelsea was rubbish, Wenger replied: “Yes.”
The 22-year old England international has failed to hit form this year, but he still remains very much part of Wenger’s plans this year. Any possible move to Stamford Bridge in near future can be safely ruled out.
