Arsenal Striker-Target Agrees Surprise £35M Move To Chelsea

According to the Daily Star, Arsenal summer transfer prime target Edinson Cavani has agreed a deal that would see him join Chelsea next summer.

Edinson Cavani was reportedly unhappy after being played out of position by Laurent Blanc – since moving from Napoli to Paris Saint Germain, Cavani has featured from the flanks with Ibrahimovic giving the nod to play up front.
During the summer, the Uruguayan was linked with a move away from Parc des Princes with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal interested in his services but he has now opted to move to London with Chelsea next summer, per the report.

Meanwhile, it was reported last week that Cavani would move to Napoli where he had the best three years of his career. Apparently, he wants to have a test of the Premier League.

Chelsea have been uncharacteristically poor this season – the are currently lying in 15th position on the Premier League log, winning just three matches in 10 and conceding 19 goals.

Mourinho would be looking to replace and sack Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao who have been a shadow of themselves this season. Both players have been linked with a departure and it is unlikely they will remain with the Blues next season.
