Arsenal Suffer YET Another Injury Blow, Midfielder Out Till 2016

On a sad note for Arsenal faithful, Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Jack Wilshere will be out of action for 12 weeks as he is set to undergo surgery a few days from today. This is after Rosicky and Welbeck have been ruled out till 2016.

Ahead of the Gunners Champions League clash with Zagreb this Wednesday, Wenger gave an injury update and confirmed that the midfielder will undergo surgery and is not expected to be back earlier than in three months time.

Wilshere, 23, adds to the growing list of sidelined Arsenal players as the club bears the injuries of Danny Welbeck, Tomas Rosicky and Per Mertesacker.

At just 23, this is Jack Wilshere’s 12th injury since 2009 and the set backs has seen him lost his place for club – he progressed from the youth rank of Arsenal but his formative age has been bedevilled with so much injuries

With Ozil, Ramsey, Cazorla all available, the England international will struggle for a place in the Gunners star studded midfield upon his return from injury.

Wilshere had 24 appearances for the Gunners last season; he created 33 chances and scored three goals from the midfield in the same season.

We wish him and all the injured Gunners the quickest of recoveries as they painfully watch their team from the sideline.
