Known as the pride of London, Arsenal are the most successful Premier league club in London but their seasons in recent years have been bedevilled by injuries to their key players.
This season has not been different for Arsenal but the cheering news for the Gunners this weekend is the return of Laurent Koscielny who had a knock in training before the match against Bayern Munich.
He has been certified fit and is in contention for the match against Tottenham this Sunday. In his absence last Wednesday, the defence of Arsenal looked ordinary and penetrable as the Gunners were thrashed by Bayern Munich.
He will most likely partner Gabriel in the North London derby and Wenger will be hoping that he is not featured for France in the international break. His return leaves Arsenal with nine players that are yet to fully recover and return to the squad.
Arsenal are still without Danny Welbeck, Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Oxlade Chamberlain, Hector Bellerin, David Ospina, Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta. However, a major crop of the injured players will be back after the international break.
