Arsenal To ANNOUNCE Two Signings This Week

Arsenal have agreed deals to bring in two world class players, which they expect to announce this week. The north Londoners will be welcoming their latest huge additions very soon, it has been reported.

The first one being that of Petr Cech which was announced on Monday, while the other is set for announcement midweek.

The Emirates stadium will be welcoming Chelsea’s Petr Cech and Juventus’ Arturo Vidal this week. Goalkeeper, Cech wants to end his 11-year stay at Chelsea. He wants a club who can make his a first-choice goalie, and Arsenal obviously have promised him that.

Manager, Arsene Wenger is looking to solidify and improve on his options for the goalkeeping role in a bid to genuinely push for the Premier League title. Hence, his reason to purchase the 33-year old shot stopper. A fee of £10.9 has been agreed between Chelsea and Arsenal, and Cech has reportedly successfully completed a medical.

Arsenal’s photographer gave a hint about this imminent arrival by posting on his own twitter page about himself and another Arsenal colleague being very busy ‘at work’. This may mean they are involved in a photoshoot for the Czech goalkeeper.

Arturo Vidal’s move to the Emirates is 90% done, according to the Independent. He is reportedly on the verge of joining Arsenal on a five-year deal for £21 million from Juventus.

As Man United appear to have defeated the Gunners in the battle for Morgan Schneiderlin, the Emirates club had to look for another option in the form of Arturo Vidal.

On Juventus’ side though, they have to sell in order to buy, and having acquired the services of Sami Khedira, the Bianconeris needed to sell Vidal to bring in funds.

Both players will, no doubt, change the belief and determination (for success) of the Arsenal team. Cech is winner, so is Vidal.

Vidal will provide energy to the Arsenal midfield and will bring in a winning-at-all-costs mentality to the team. He is a player who “fumes when he loses the ball”, in the words of Ljunberg, a former Arsenal player. The 28-year old Chile midfielder is definitely the kind of player Arsenal need. He is a winner of four Serie A titles and two Copa Italias since joining Juventus from Leverkusen in 2011.

Last season, Cech won the EPL title with Chelsea, making it a total of four for the former Rennes goal tender. He has also won the Champions League trophy, Europa League trophy, FA Cups and League Cups with Chelsea. Mourinho deposed him as Chelsea’s No.1 in favour of Belgian 22-year old goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois. He will be moving to Arsenal with his goalkeeping coach, Christophe Lollichon, reports suggest.
