Arsene Wenger plan sensational triple swoop to satisfy fans after horrible season
Arsenal have had an inconsistent season to say the least. Finishing another year without a trophy and second place in the league has created a vocal group of fans that are calling for the club to axe Arsene Wenger. Wenger has firmly denied reports indicating he might be leaving and says that he will be there for some time yet.
In order to appease some of the angry fans, Wenger is looking to sign a trio of youngsters who could become major players for the team in years to come.
Ben Chilwell, Ryan Sessegnon and Lucas Hernandez are the names being mentioned, with Wenger reportedly ready to make bids for all 3 very shortly.
Will these youngsters satisfy the fans? They were probably hoping for some big names and mega money transfers but that isn’t really Wenger’s style.
He did splash the cash on Ozil and Sanchez, but he prefers to buy young and try to develop the players. Last summer, Wenger signed Petr Cech in their only move, which raised a few eyebrows as Arsenal have been left short in all areas after the injury list grew.
The Daily Mirror have reported that Wenger wants Leicester prospect Chilwell, Sessegnon from Fulham and Hernandez from Atletico. All 3 are under 20 years of age and are wanted by teams across Europe.
Arsenal might have a job on their hands to get all 3, but Wenger is known for attracting the younger generation of footballers to his team.
