Arturo Vidal Could FINALLY Move To Manchester United In January

Reports are emerging that Juventus might soon be selling off of their star players to Man Utd. Arturo Vidal, the 27 year old Chilean midfielder who has been at Juventus for 4 years and helped the club to two league titles, was fined for an incident outside a club and this is believed to caused a breakdown in the relationship between the player and the club. It is believed that Juventus has set an asking price of €35 million and Man Utd who spent the whole summer trying to sign him are believed to be interested and will want to sign him immediately to avoid been ousted by any of their rivals in England or the rest of Europe.

Signing him will definitely turn things around for Man Utd as they are hovering on the worse decline to hit them ever. With Ferguson retiring and Moyes replacing him, Man Utd crashed out of the league and finished 7th. The ominous signs that were Ferguson ignored came back to haunt Utd. As of now, they still lack quality in the midfield, though they boast of one of the best attacking players in the league, they have not being convincing and have struggled to scrape wins.

All this is down to the midfield being porous, with no defined personality creating, stringing passes, and dictating the tempo of their games.  Carrick, Fletcher obviously do not measure up to the required standard and this is why Vidal is the perfect candidate. He is “a complete midfielder, known for his marking, positioning, tackling, and anticipation, attributes which allow him to be effective at intercepting passes, and winning back possession. He is also gifted with technique, pace, and stamina, as well as vision, good distribution, a powerful shot from distance and an eye for goal. Due to his strength and physical characteristics, he can also be effective in the air” *Wikipedia.

This is just the complete midfielder and this is why the story might not hold much water. Why would Juventus want to sell an individual who has been profound and astounding for them since signing up for them ,and if indeed they  want to sell, why would they fix such a meager amount on him, when people of lesser or over hyped talents go for much more? It might sound out of place, but there is no way on earth that Juventus will want to sell him or even Pogba. These two have been the mainstay of Juventus and the reason for their resurgence. And with the club’s pursuit for continental glory, they will want to hold on tight to their prized assets.

For Man Utd fans however, if this transfer does happen, then they have all reason to be optimistic about the future of the club. A starting lineup of De Gea, Rafael, Shaw, Rojo, Blind, Vidal, Rooney, Mata, Di Maria, Falcao and Van Persie will be a sight to behold, and the fear factor will return to Old Trafford.
