Arturo Vidal EVEN CLOSER To Arsenal Move

These are very interesting times for Arsenal, as reports are circulating today suggesting Arsenal are on the verge of signing Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal. Lately Arsenal have been strongly linked with a move for Vidal this summer and reports last month suggested that they have held talks with his agent Fernando Felicevich after their FA Cup final.

A South American journalist, Hernen Feler  caused some stir after claiming in May that Arsenal has agreed a deal to sign the 28-year-old midfielder after the Copa America.

The Daily Star are citing reports coming from Chilean newspaper La Stampa that also lays claims saying Vidal has been sold to Arsenal in a €30m (£21m) deal with the transfer expected to be announced when the Copa America comes to a close next week.

The paper suggests that Juventus may have signed Sami Khedira as a perfect replacement for Aturo Vidal and have been decided to cash-in on the Chilean international to fund another move for Bayern Munich defender Mehdi Benatia.

There’s need for cautions with these reports but to wait until something more concrete comes out but the rumours about Vidal joining Arsenal are gathering momentum daily.

Based on the rumours today, it seems Vidal is the man and if these reports turn out genuine, he would be an outstanding signing for the club as he has a winner mentality, he has an enormous vast experience and is a genuine world class midfielder.

Recall that the South American, Hernen Feler that claimed Vidal to Arsenal was a ‘done deal’ last month was the same man that broke the Alexis Sanchez news and Angel Di Maria’s move to United, he’s got some credibility.
