Liverpool Plan Mega Bid For Striker With 19 Goals In 18 Games, Also Linked With Chelsea & Manchester United

Arguably the most prolific attacker in the world at the moment, Liverpool are looking to break the bank for Bayern Munich’s goal poacher Robert Lewandowski, reports the Metro. The former Borussia Dortmund player has caught the eyes of all the biggest European clubs with his prolific finishes this term. He has been on the form of his life and Liverpool are rooting for his signature. Having played under the tutelage of Klopp at Dortmund, Klopp is understood to be rooting for a reunion with the Poland international.

During the summer, Lewandowski was a subject of attraction from Real Madrid, Arsenal and Juventus but Liverpool are understood to have a strategy and money in place as to luring the player to Anfield. Following his form for club, Lewandowski is going to command a record breaking sum even though he moved to the Allianz Arena as a free agent. The 27-year-old has scored 14 goals in 11 appearances in the Bundesliga this term and 19 goals in 18 matches in all competitions this term. His goal scoring record so far, makes him more prolific than Messi and Ronaldo.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will travel to the Etihad to face the Manchester City next weekend. They will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Crystal Palace.
