Christian Tello Moving to Liverpool

Barcelona Superstar Striker Joining Liverpool This Week? Players Agent Reveals Deal Should be Done Before Weekend

Liverpool are reportedly keeping close tabs on Barcelona forward Cristian Tello after Juventus rejected their massive bid to bring Alvaro Morata to Anfield.

According to our sources, it is not yet clear why Juventus rejected Liverpool’s bid for the former Real Madrid forward, but it is evident that the Italian club may be considering selling Morata in an effort to fund a deal to bring Paris Saint-Germain attacker Edison Cavani.

Morata is currently struggling for play time at Juve after he has fallen behind Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala in the pecking order. Mandzukic and Dybala are currently the favored by manager Massimiliano Allegri.

The Reds have reportedly had their £45 million bid rejected by Juve earlier this week, but they are still ready to continue seeking for the former Real Madrid forward services with a good number of elite clubs still chasing for his signature too.

It is evident that Reds manager Jürgen Klopp would want a player like Morata to bolster his attacking squad.

Meanwhile, reports emerging from Italy claim that Liverpool have made a late move for Cristian Tello as a replacement for Morata.

Italian side Fiorentina in recent times agreed a deal to sign Tello on loan with an opportunity to make the deal permanent for £6 million but reports claim that the deal between Fiorentina and Barcelona was about to be signed off, until Liverpool stepped in.

Tello, who plays both as a winger and forward, is currently on a 2-year loan at FC-Porto after he made the switch in July 2014 from Barcelona.

Before today’s claims, reports had it that Porto were not interested to buy him hence a deal to Fiorentina was a great opportunity for him. His agent, Josep Maria told reporters: “Porto, Fiorentina and Barcelona are negotiating the player’s transfer. I think that he will sign with Fiorentina before the weekend.

“Cristian wants to join Fiorentina because it would be a chance to join another great team. He comes from Barcelona, and though we respect Porto, we believe that Fiorentina would be a big step forward in his career.”

The 24-year-old has been a long-term target for Liverpool.
